OBJECTIVES
- To provide avenue to member institutions to do live book selection for collection development through book fairs, direct ALBASA assistance in the procurement of needed resources and other referrals.
- To strengthen active commitment to all ALBASA activities and undertakings in adherence to the by-laws.
- To ensure honesty and transparency in all transactions among stakeholders.
- To provide linkage for ALBASA members to engage in local and international learning activities.
- To facilitate harmonious relationship among stakeholders: reliable partners (book dealers and publishers), ALBASA management and ALBASA members.
- To provide continuous professional development for librarians and library staff by organizing seminars, and conferences to keep abreast of the latest trends and technology in library and information science.
